What You’ll Bring

Responsibilities
Demonstrate a good understanding of vehicle construction, Tooling and equipment and repair processes.
To carry out work in a manner compliant to EHS policies adhering to manufacturer and industry guidelines.
Remove, install, and replace any bolt on panels, bumpers, lamps and perform quality control checks for alignment.
Carry out cosmetic repairs on all Tesla Model’s in accordance with the Tesla specific Repair procedures. Including basic body repair process, such as filler application and sanding down.
Carry out all quality control aspect to the body repair process, ensuring wet checks of all filler repairs are complete prior to senior technician sign off.
Supporting other Bodyshop departments on an as-needed basis.
Accurately assess the vehicle for pre-existing damage prior to work commencing
Ensure you meet daily target set out by the production manager, to ensure the vehicle meets it completion date.
To ensure that all equipment used, including jigs, fixtures and welding equipment, is operated in accordance with defined safety requirements

Requirements
Proven experience as a Body Repair Technician in a body shop environment. Prior body repair experience on Tesla vehicles will be considered highly advantageous.
Experience working with adhesive bonding and mechanical fasteners. Industry recognised accreditation highly beneficial.
Basic computer skills, including navigating web browsers and standard applications Microsoft Word.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail

What You’ll Do
Confidently communicate with customers as a Tesla ambassador through digital channels, and face to-face to provide: Scheduling/status updates, waiter updates, and payment requirements.
Educate customers on Product, Tesla App, and answer any questions using customer friendly language.
Maintain a tidy, representable customer facing area (customer lounge, service entrance), and organize the parking lot.
Manage the service fleet, performing damage audits, flagging service requirements, and car cleaning.
Facilitate test drives in service, being an ambassador for new products and support in generating additional sales.
Manage arrival of unscheduled appointments and any surprises on site – ensuring smooth operations of the workshop.

Requirements
Proven experience as a Body Repair Technician in a body shop environment. Prior body repair experience on Tesla vehicles will be considered highly advantageous.
Experience working with adhesive bonding and mechanical fasteners. Industry recognized accreditation highly beneficial.
Basic computer skills, including navigating web browsers and standard applications Microsoft Word.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail
Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines

The Tesla Body Repair Program is seeking a Body Shop Vehicle Damage Assessor to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world.
This position will involve supporting the Body Repair Program in all aspects. If you are interested in becoming a part of a world class Bodyshop team supporting the latest EV technology, we are interested in hearing from you.
Our Vehicle Damage Assessor play an integral role within the Tesla Bodyshop. In this position, you will carry out estimates in a timely and accurate manner, take responsibility for managing invoices to ensure that the department meets its targets. In addition, you will make a direct impact on the profitability of the Bodyshop by using your in depth understanding of collision and body repair.

What You’ll Do
• Identify and record key vehicle specifications
• Build Repair Plans in accordance with Tesla specific repair procedures.
• Document all related or non-related damage to the vehicle
• Preparing detailed repair estimates and plans for damaged Tesla models in accordance with Tesla specific repair procedures and insurance partner
• Inspecting customer vehicles, maintaining, and executing a timely schedule before, during, and after completions of repairs
• Work closely with Senior Technicians in their work and through your assistance move towards more complicated tasks as a part of your development
• Establish and record vehicle occupancy at the time of the incident
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Work within given time constraints
• Carry out Quality Checks to ensure repair work meets Tesla’s High Standards
• To carry out work in a manner compliant to EHS policies adhering to manufacturer and industry guidelines
• Liaising with insurance representatives to guarantee that repairs are authorized for claims and billing
• Booking in customers and keeping them constantly updated on vehicle progress
• Finalise repair order for invoicing and ensure timely delivery of vehicles
• Completing all estimates using the country specific estimating system (Audatex, Cabas, CCC One or DBS)


What You’ll Bring
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor within a Bodyshop environment
• Vocational training as a Bodyshop Technician is desirable
• Capable user of at least one estimating system, CCC One, Audatex, Cabas or DBS
• A good understanding of how estimates impact profitability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A clear understanding of health & safety and good housekeeping in the automotive environment.
• The ability to deliver the highest quality standard of repair every time.
• A good understanding of tools & equipment used for all Bodyshop processes.
• A valid driving licence

Som Service Technician är du ansvarig för inspektion, att kontrollera och besluta om att bilar levereras till våra kunder i absolut bästa skick. Du arbetar med övervakning genom kalibrering och kontrollerar att vår utrustning fungerar felfritt. Och självfallet arbetar du aktivt för att stötta och ta stöd av kollegor, både inom teamet och hela regionen. Ni arbetar tillsammans, ni delar erfarenheter, och ni når resultat tillsammans.

Vem är du?
Vi söker dig med ett brinnande intresse för fordon och med viljan att driva förändring. Du är engagerad och vill ständigt lära mer inom ditt område. Hos Tesla finns alla möjligheter att utvecklas både tekniskt och i din karriär, därför söker vi dig som vill framåt. Du har en bakgrund inom mekanik och teknik, med en god grund att vidareutvecklas. Kanske har du en teknisk utbildning, alternativt ett par års erfarenhet inom fordon, flyg, elektronik eller marinteknik. Absolut viktigast är ditt intresse för bilar, vi ser gärna att du ägnar dig åt bilmekanik på fritiden. Sysslar du med några spännande hobbyprojekt hemma vill vi alltid höra mer om det!
Tesla är internationellt och hos oss är kommunikation A och O. Det är därför viktigt att du behärskar engelska på god nivå i skrift och tal. Du har ett giltigt B-körkort.

Du kommer att...
Du möter och hanterar en myriad av de olika frågor våra kunder ställer, och tar dig alltid tid att leda dem igenom processen. Och naturligtvis, du följer upp även efter det att kunden fått återförenas med sin Tesla.
Vi är en data-driven verksamhet, och din förmåga att hålla all information i våra system fläckfri är vägen till framgång.
Du kommer att koordinera med resten av vårt Service team för att garantera att varje bil levereras till våra kunder i toppskick. Du ansvarar också för att koordinera leverans och upphämtning, för att se till att våra kunder är tillbaka på vägen – effektivt och säkert.
Genom våra avancerade diagnosverktyg, samt genom att ställa rätt frågor, är du ett aktivt stöd i de anpassade lösningar vi erbjuder. Kan det göras over-the-air, behöver kunden komma till verkstaden, och ska vi kanske förbereda oss på något extra?  



Vem är du?
Vi söker dig med ett brinnande intresse för kundmötet, service så väl som fordon. Du trivs i en föränderlig miljö och frodas i en omväxlande vardag. Att hantera och prioritera mella flera olika ansvarsområden är en rolig utmaning, inte ett nödvändigt ont. Som Service Support är en pragmatisk inställning vägen till framgång.
Vidare har du:
Minst 2 års tidigare erfarenhet från kundnära roller (gärna inom mekanik/teknik/fordon)
Hög kommunikationsförmåga och erfarenhet av samarbete över gränser
Erfarenhet av koordinerande uppgifter och dokumentation
Ett giltigt körkort

Sist men inte minst: du behärskar både svenska och engelska på flytande nivå, tal och skrift.
